Do not select the "While Using the App" option, as it will prevent MileIQ from detecting drives consistently. Important: iOS 11 now allows the option to use location services only when an app is in use. To confirm your location settings are correct, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services (On) > MileIQ and make sure they're set to Always.

On Apple devices like iPhones and iPads, Location Services are required to be On and set to Always for MileIQ to detect drives.
